Take into consideration the size of the area which you intend to heat. If you have an existing wood burning fireplace, the size of the opening should be measured to determine what will fit. If you don't have an existing fireplace you have to decide what "look" best suits your room. Is it a built-in unit with a brick or wood mantel or do you prefer the woodstove look with either an old fashioned look or more modern appeal.
